What is Gnosis?
Gnosis is knowledge obtained from direct experience.
Gnosis is self knowledge. It can not be given to us from external sources, we must experience it for ourselves, from within.
It is the understanding of spiritual truths that comes from within and is the foundation of all genuine spiritual traditions. Gnosis is an ancient path of knowledge that leads to self-realisation and spiritual liberation. It is a holistic form of wisdom that encompasses spirituality, philosophy, science, and art, aiming to awaken higher states of consciousness and inner divinity.
Gnosis promotes unity and understanding among people, by revealing the common thread of truth, love and wisdom that exists within us all. It breaks down the illusion of separation and helps us to see the divine spark within ourselves and others.

Gnosis South Africa is dedicated to making the timeless wisdom of Gnosis accessible to all, offering free education and practical teachings that encourage self-knowledge, the awakening of consciousness and inner transformation.
In a country rich in cultural and spiritual diversity, we recognise the importance of understanding ourselves and one another. Through the teachings of Gnosis, we seek to inspire individuals to look within, question their habitual ways of thinking and living, and discover their capacity for meaningful change.
Our objective is to establish welcoming spaces for learning, reflection and meditation throughout South Africa, where people from all walks of life can explore the deeper questions of existence and develop a greater understanding of themselves and the world around them.
We believe that genuine transformation begins within the individual, and that through conscious inner work, we can contribute to a more compassionate, understanding and awakened society.
